Rejoice, Pray, Give Thanks!

Dear Child,

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing and in everything give thanks; for this is My will in Christ Jesus for you. I want to teach you a little about real joy, prayer and thanksgiving. Give me a few moments of this day. You will learn something worth your time.

Remember to have joy in life! Every child of Mine should live joyfully in the security and assurance of being certain that you are saved. It is easier to have the security of being a believer, in being certain of what you really believe to be truth, than to know you, being saved, have the assurance of daily salvation. Do you take the step of faith believing in Jesus, knowing you are always free of the penalty of sin?

While on earth you will continually find yourself in the presence of sin, but it is at these precise moments that you will experience the salvation of being free of sin. The grace and freedom that comes from being forgiven of sin through your acceptance of Jesus is the very act that brings deep joy into your life, on a daily basis. I gave you the Holy Spirit as My guarantee to you that you will have acceptance into Heaven, but My guarantee is even more relevant as you knowingly experience that I, Who have the power to save you from Hell, also have the power to save you from the bondages of sin while on earth. In this truth, rejoice!

Remember the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. You are righteous in My eyes because you are living in Christ, and the Holy Spirit is living in you. I no longer see your sin when I gaze upon you. Instead, I see Christ's covering over you in all of His righteousness. You have done nothing to acquire your righteous state, and matter of fact there never was anything you could have done, since you were born into unrighteous sin. Righteousness is a gracious gift given by Me to you in response to your acceptance of Jesus as your Lord and Savior.

When praying fervently understand that My knowledge is greater than yours and when a prayer seems to go unanswered you are not able to see My response. Often I have to work in ways that protect you because you ask without knowing the outcome of what you request. Fervent prayer takes great trust in believing I will do what is right and necessary in the situation you lay at My feet, surrendering your will to My will. While Thanksgiving may be a seasonal thought for many, you need to live a life of thanksgiving, so that others will be drawn to ask you what you are so thankful for and when this question comes, be ready with your answer.
