Who Is Your Hope?
Dear Child,
Hope! You hear it everywhere you turn. Hope! Everyone is offering it. Hope! People are longing to have it. Hope! Apart from Me, hope is vain, shallow, and empty. What others offer you is counterfeit.
Hope is not a commodity in and of itself. Hope depends upon that object you are hoping in. Your hope is fulfilled in Me! I, alone, am the only hope you can stake your life on and grow your faith by. I will never fail you.
Many offer hope but they will never deliver apart from Me! There is one hope, one truth, one faith!
Be careful who you hope in. The object of your hope is your god, who you depend on, who you obey, who you believe in! Place all of your hope in Me. You will never be disappointed. I will satisfy you and provide for your every need. It is so true in the wicked world that there are people who are filled with an evil spirit over which the person has no control. Many cases as these seem hopeless, and people who are suffering from the control of evil are miserable.
While it often appears to man's eye that he may have no reason to live, I see individuals differently. I know I can heal anyone who comes to Me truly seeking to be set free, and willing to repent from living that is not right according to My Word.
Do you know why you and everyone who has ever lived always has hope? Do you remember when Jesus was in the garden of Gethsemane? His heart was so broken and blood was already flowing freely in His sweat. In genuine agony He cried out to Me, "Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me!" It was as if time froze in this unanswered prayer. To Jesus, in that moment, the heavens were dark, the doors were shut and I gave Him no assurance that I would ever answer this tearful pleading prayer.
Yet, I want you to think on this for a moment. All hope would have been lost for eternity if I answered Jesus' prayer. Even if Jesus called forth the angelic hosts acting in His own will and allowed Himself to be miraculously removed from the cross to be spared His cruel death, there would never be any real hope. But the good news is and always will be - Jesus did live a sinless life, died a sinners death by becoming everyone's sin on the cross and rose on the third day to eternally conquer the curse of death.
Hope! Many claim to be able to give it, but what they offer is fleeting and a counterfeit. Real Hope is truly the message of Jesus! Jesus is the one and only who can provides the ability to be reconciled with Me through His redemption from sin, and His gift of eternal life given to all who will believe! Renew your heart to have steadfast faith and go freely sharing the only real hope in life for everyone.
Rest in knowing I know what is best for you, and as you remain submissive to My will you will be flooded with My hope!
