Fair or Just?

Dear Child,

"It's not fair!" I hear your wounded heart cry. "Why did I get passed over? Why did she get the best and I get what is left over? How did this happen to me?"

Hear this, and take heed, life is not fair. It never has been for you nor will it ever be. Life is not fair for anyone.

And hear this, listen even deeper in your soul, life IS just! It always was and always will be, even to the end time of the earth. It rains on the good and the wicked. The sun rises for My children and those who choose the way of My enemy.

But never forget, I am Just!

Is it fair that one person is born in a country of wealth and opportunity and another is born in a country poor and torn by war? Is it fair that one has a loving family and another is abandoned, rejected, or has a family full of hatred and sinful living? It is not fair, but it is just.

I am the lawgiver and the judge of life.

I think that when every Child of God can grasp this one simple truth, life is so much fuller...

All I know is that 'fair' is not something Ive been acquainted with, but I have met the "justness" of God! And let me tell you, there's nothing like it.....
