Bio:
Cathey has been married to Steve for 29 years and has 2 adult children who are the apples of her eye. She is crazy about her Boston Terriers and her 20 year old cat. She loves gardening, fiber art, traveling and watching chick-flicks. Cathey and her family are currently involved in planting a new church in Ohio.
Ministry:
Cathey’s passion is to encourage women as they seek the heart of God looking for their unique purpose in live by relaying Biblical teachings and principles. Her ministry background includes counseling, coaching, teaching and coordinating training events at her home church. She has also lead grief recovery groups where she has walked along side people of many ages as they work through their grief. Cathey is also a speaker for ministry training events.
Experience:
Cathey has a Bachelor’s degree from Georgetown College and is a Board Certified Pastoral Counselor. Cathey’s specialization is Grief Recovery for adults, teens, and children. Previously, she was a Christian School Administrator and served as Chairman of the Board of Education for that School for eight years. She also has experience working as an educational and cognitive rehabilitation therapist. Cathey owns Seeking God’s Heart Christian Bookstore and More which is an on-line bookstore and variety shop. She enjoys mentoring teens and meeting with her Ladies Bible study group. Cathey also offers Life Coaching.
