A Verse I Seem to Come Back to A Lot...
“I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well.” Psalm 139:14 (NKJV)
This verse reminds me to praise the Lord at all times, because He knows what He's doing in my life. He made me just the way I am, so I can simply be myself and live in pure joy.
One of My Favorite Quotes...
To laugh is to risk appearing foolish.
To weep is to risk appearing sentimental.
To reach out to another is to risk involvement.
To expose feelings is to risk exposing your true self.
To place your dreams and ideas before a crowd is to risk loss.
To love is to risk not being loved in return.
To live is to risk dying.
To hope is to risk despair.
To try at all is to risk failure.
But risk we must, because the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing. The person who risks nothing does nothing, has nothing, and is nothing. They may avoid suffering and sorrow, but they cannot learn, feel, change, grow, love, and live. Chained by their certitudes, they are a slave; they have forfeited their freedom. Only a person who risks is truly free. (Anonymous)

...People
