A Verse I Seem to Come Back to A Lot...
It's the verse that spoke deeply to my heart and help usher me into the Kingdom: "Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me." Rev. 3:20 I heard the knock, I opened the door, I had (and have) fellowship with our Lord.

I Love...
My God, my hubby and my kids, Dove dark chocolate, Starbucks black iced tea (no sweetener, no water), watching my Laura fall in love, cheering my Julia as she dominates the basketball court (she's not short, she's fun-sized), watching my John turn into a beautiful young man, and karate (kee-yih!).
Not much love for...

Bio:
A biblical counselor, author and speaker, Lucy Ann Moll has a God-given call to offer true hope to Christian women who hurt and to the people who love them. She knows what it's like to be in a church surrounded by women who seem to have it all together while she hurt deeply, emotionally and spiritually. "Does anyone see my pain?" she wondered. "Does anyone care?"
Like many Christian women, she turned outside the church for help. . .to a Christian psychologist. While thankful she found a safe place to talk, she knew something was amiss. Only later did she learn what is was: The psychologist, through a Christian, was schooled in atheistic modes of therapy. (Sigmund Freud, the father of modern psychology, was himself an atheist and found fault in religious belief.)
Lucy improved greatly after leaving therapy and determining to find healing in the Bible and through the balm of Christian music. Jesus Christ is the Great Physician.
As one thing led to another, Lucy enrolled in Western Seminary, Portland, Ore., studied pastoral care to women, and was graduated in 2008. She began counseling Christian women regularly. Bringing counseling back into the church, she has witnessed great improvement in her female Christian clients in short amounts of time, a testimony to the power of the Word. A few examples: one woman overcame her disabling fear of storms, another stopped an adulterous relationship and recommitted herself to her marriage, still another extended forgiveness to family members who had physically and sexually abused her and no longer uses alcohol to numb pain.
Seeing the power of biblical counseling through the work of the Holy Spirit, Lucy is on fire to encourage and equip other Christian women to coach friends and family members using the Word in their churches. All you need is willingness to learn and a desire to honor God, for the Bible commands us to "one another" (love, forgive, rebuke, encourage and so on.)
More about Lucy:
I've been married nearly 25 years to Steve, a great guy, pastor and businessman. We have three children -- Laura, Julia and John -- and are the "pets" to three cats. I'm one belt away from black in karate and have discovered numerous parallels between spiritual warfare and martial arts. Other things I like to do: pilates, yoga and reading.
