A Verse I seem to come back to a lot...
But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Corinthians 12:9-10
One of My Favorite Quotes...
"All of us failed to match our dreams of perfection. So I rate us on the basis of our splendid failure to do the impossible." ~ William Faulkner
I Love...
Writing, it's my passion, my God-given job, my way of giving back to God, it's how I reach those I can't meet in person. I also love horses, country living, and my family of course.
Not much love for...
Hospitals, and yet it seems
I've seen the inside of more hospitals due to one health issue after
another. I have very low tolerance for arrogant doctors- had my fair
share of those too.
Bio:
I'm first the wife to a longsuffering soldier who recently returned from a stint in Iraq, and the mother of four, three boys and one little cowgirl in training. When I'm not a slave to the computer and my home, you can find me hanging with my friends, or at my local coffee haunt.
I'm second a Christian Romantic Suspense author. I recently signed with an agent and taking the next step toward publication. My books are set in the world of professional rodeo and ranching. Why do I write in this particular genre? Well, I love the lifestyle, love God, and I love a well-spun mystery. Finding none of these in the books that sat on library and bookstore shelves, I took up pen and paper and crafted a book I wanted to read without having to cringe or skip pages.
